Commissions can be a fun part of an artist's career! If you're looking for a custom piece painted by me, I'd love to be part of creating something special for you or a loved one!
Please keep in mind, if you have a custom painting in mind as a gift for a special occasion, there may be a wait list, so get in touch early! Also consider the fact that aside from the painting process taking time, so does drying between layers, before varnishing, and before shipping, and all those times vary. I’d love to be part of creating something special for that someone special, so be sure to get in touch as early as possible if that’s what you’re looking for, so we have plenty of time to make your piece happen!
The following are approximate rates for single person (head & shoulders) or subject oil paintings with a simple background, actual rates may vary depending on the amount of people/subjects and complexity of the background and painting itself. Shipping costs ARE NOT included in these prices, and will be calculated upon completion of your piece, before shipping.

*These rates are for commissions only and do not reflect prices for my non-custom artwork.
PLEASE NOTE: A 50% payment of the total price of the commission is due before I begin painting. Once paint hits canvas (or chosen painting surface), this payment is non-refundable. The remaining amount will be due upon completion of the custom piece before shipping.
OTHER FEES
- As stated above, this price list is for a single person/subject, head & shoulders only. Please ADD 20% for EACH additional person/subject. In very few cases, this can be more if clothing is very intricate, ie. lace, eyelet, beaded, etc. ADD 5% for head to waist or 10% for head to waist including hands, or 20% for full body.
- Again, as stated above, if the background you'd like to see in your commission is not a simple background, you can expect to ADD 10%+ to the prices listed above, depending on the complexity of your desired background. This only happens in very few cases, for example: an entire detailed room.
- Prices DO NOT include Framing or Shipping. ALL Shipping Fees are the responsibility of the Client, and will be calculated upon completion of the painting.
